NEIL EGGINGTON

Neil has worked in the construction and fire safety industry for over 30 years. During this time he has worked in the public and private sectors of Building Control but has also worked ‘client side’ acting as fire safety subject matter expert for an International Airport. He is a Chartered Building Engineer and a member of both the Institutes of Fire Safety Managers and Fire Engineers. Neil specialises is fire strategy evaluation in complex mixed use buildings but is experienced in all building use sectors.

 

Understanding the complexities and nuances of guidance, whilst appreciating commercial considerations, allows Neil to explore and advise clients on how to best achieve compliance. This may be in either the most cost effective manner, or in line with a client’s brief including their attitude to risk or need for business continuity.

 

Outside of work Neil has two adult daughters and generally enjoys the outdoor life. He is a dog lover, plays tennis at a competitive level and is a member of a local sports car club. He also has a passion for rock and blues music and plays the guitar. Although he has never admitted it, we are all convinced it was Neil who blew the office radio speakers whilst listening to Planet Rock on volume 11.
