EMMA CHAMBERLAIN 

SENIOR BUILDING CONSULTANT

BSc (Hons) C.Build E FCABE 

Emma started her career in Building Control in the 1980’s with Birmingham City Council , moving to different local authorities within the West Midlands and Staffordshire areas .She completed her BSc Degree at the University of Central England before  moving  to Scotland and working for LABC there. In 2000 she moved back down to England and worked with different AI’s before joining C3 .

Emma is a Fellow of CABE and sits on the panel interviewing new members for Chartered Membership status .

She has also contributed to a white paper on Women in Construction , a firm believer and advocate of equal opportunity and encouraging from a very early age women into the construction industry .

​

Emma lives with her partner and has two children and three grandsons . She loves travelling anywhere and everywhere and last year completed an overland trip from UK to Guinea ,West Africa all by public transport to raise money for charity .

During her time in Scotland Emma was a Director of Womens Aid  and continues to support her local branch now back in England .
